Dear Supports,
I am officially running for Mayor of Baker, Louisiana. As a retired senior enlisted service member, community servant, and dedicated public health official, I will bring a wealth of organizational expertise to the City, including leadership, strategic thinking, infrastructure management and disciplined decision-making skills to this administration. As we gear up for the upcoming election, I do need your support.
In my quest to move Baker forward, I believe investing in our children is paramount. I am committed to prioritizing our school's needs, supporting our educators & parents while collaborating with businesses and other community leaders on developing a more productive environment. Additionally, I aim to address the drainage issues that have begun to plague the City - flooding homes and businesses. As a former Louisiana buildings & premises regulator, I can effectively advocate for entrepreneurs and new businesses in the start-up phase with a pathway to permitting with less bureaucracy and hassle. Through these efforts, we can establish a shared vision for growth in the City and ensure everyone has a voice in its transformation.
I feel we may have a lot of work ahead to build trust and unify our citizens. But rest assured that I have a desire to help the people of Baker to navigate the systems to achieve their goals and address their concerns. I am committed to the challenge of using my leadership & administrative experiences to obtain & sustain a safe, healthy & prosperous Baker.
